A New York native, Dr. Cheng received her dental degree at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in New York. She stayed on to complete a general practice residency and subsequently moved to Boston with her husband. While practicing dentistry, she has been constantly taking continuing education courses and attending conferences nationwide, allowing her to remain at the forefront of dentistry.

Dr. Cheng understands that each individual is different and has unique concerns. With this in mind, she serves each patient with integrity, respect, and kindness. Dr. Cheng strives to build health-enhancing relationships with everyone she meets. She has a strong personal commitment to her work and to her patients.

Dr. Cheng is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She also maintains a position as a clinical associate professor at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. Always in pursuit of furthering her knowledge to provide excellent care, Dr. Cheng is also a member of the Greater Boston region’s chapter of the Seattle Study Club. 

After numerous hours of continuing education and a rigorous examination, Dr. Cheng has earned fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry! She became a fellow in July 2016 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. 

When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Cheng enjoys traveling, cooking, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and friends.
